Yes, the river is beautiful but I can think of multiple places where it’s just as beautiful and so are the accommodations. Every day between 4-6 pm you lose water completely because they can’t handle the capacity of people they let in. The number one complaint I have is that they are so worried about making a buck that they sell unlimited amount of day passes to so many outsiders that the people who have overpaid To stay there can’t enjoy the amenities (River/showers) during the stay. The rv site has zero trees so it’s hot, the bathrooms near the Rv sites have zero ventilation except one window that shows any passerby a full View of you showering.if you’re lucky enough to get a shower while they still have water. The a/c coils hadn’t been cleaned in so long the a/c wasn’t working. They’re zip tied in pieces where they didn’t quite span the distance. There are hog panels as barriers used up stairs in the loft to keep kids from falling out. They haven’t Renovated anything I would guess since the early 90’s If that. We took a camper and our family stayed in a cabin. If you’ve seen the pics, you know the river and the bluff is beautiful, but that is all this place has going for them.
